Wild Angels was founded by Michael Stewartt, an internationally recognized leader in environmental restoration. Prior to creating Wild Angels, Stewartt founded Lighthawk and served as that organization's Executive Director and chief pilot for 14 years. His work has been honored by the Governments of Chile, Belize, and Costa Rica; by corporations such as Chevron (Conservation Award); and by many conservation organizations including The National Wildlife Federation and Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance.
